What can MOTEC do......LS based engine / 4L80E transmission

I have a 1998 WS6 Trans Am that is on the road to break in its new engine. After break-in the turbo kit goes on. Goal is 1500 RWHP.

Does Motec have a Traction Control mode that will work with my set up? I'll be using a DBW throttle body if that matters.
This is a big thing for roll racing with my power level. I saw a youtube video of a guy roll racing several diffferent cars and winning every race. The cars he was racing all had more power, in one case 500 HP more but they were spinning their wheels.
The guy with Motec kept saying these wins are all about the Motec helping put the power down.

Also, I was going to use the Holley Terminator X for engine/trans management. Can I just use Motec for all my management needs.

Hi,

We do not do a standalone Traction Control module, it is integrated into our ECU's. We can run the LS engine and have support for the 4lx0E gearbox.

So how does the Motec ECU improve traction?

You need to have a long chat with your chosen tuner before you go much further.

They will be as, or more important than whatever ecu platform you choose.

Hi,

There is an internal Traction Control functionality in the M1 Firmware, depending on the Firmware version and how it has been configured, it may reduce engine power by closing the throttle, applying ignition retard or ignition cut or a combination of the three.
