Yaris GR IMT

Postby Sekred on Sat Jan 27, 2024 2:36 pm

Hello today.

I have a 2020 Yaris GR running the M142 ECU. The vehicle has been tuned by a MoTeC dealer and runs very well.
One thing that does not function very well is the IMT. It certainly does not rev match on down shifts. The maximum rev blip is about 500rpm and this does not change.
I have been in the M1 Tune numerous times and manage to find my around reasonably well but I cannot find the Map or Table (am I using the right term?) for the IMT.
Ant help would appreciated.

Hi,

Can you post the Package from the M1 thanks.

Do you have the Gear Shift Type set to Sequential?

Sorry about the delay responding.
Regarding the Package, do you mean the serial number? 23858
The Gear Shift Type is set as Sequential.

Hi,

The Package is the Firmware that is running in the M1, this can be saved by opening the M1 in M1 Tune and then going to File | Export As... then attaching it to the reply.

Hi,

Is this issue only when you are at the higher engine speeds? There is 0% in the Gear Shift Throttle Aim Main table or 6000+ rpm that blends out after 5000rpm is exceeded.

Does your Gear Estimate match up with the Gear channel?

Does the calculated Gear Ratio align with the Gear Ratio Table?

Are correct Wheel and Vehicle Speeds being generated?

Typically I would downshift around 2500 rpm I think.

The other questions I can't answer because I don't know how to find that information.

Looks like I will have take the vehicle back to a Tuner.
