Postby bbs16 on Wed May 06, 2009 7:04 am

Hello,
What am doing is upgrading from m4 to m400 and am after settings for Bosch 3 wire idle valve.
on the M4 the settings are:

Aux output 2
idle 850
prop gain 10
Int gain 14
Der gain 5
Antistall gain 70
Int limit 40
Freq 80
Min duty 5
Max duty 100
Output 3 slave
The M400 tables look different with more choices. anyone can help?

The M400 has tables for some of the parameters but to start with you can have the same value in the whole table:
Aux output 2
idle 850... In the M800 you will need to have an idle table with the axis being Engine Temp. For 0 degrees aet the idle at 1275 and at 60 degrees 850. This can be configured differently but these values will give you the same characteristics as you had with the M4

prop gain 10
Int gain 14
Der gain 5... Unfortunately youwill need to re-tune the PID parameters as these have been changed to give better resolution in Version 3 M800 software.

Antistall gain 70... Not applicable
Int limit 40... Start with -10 min and 10 max
Freq 80... We normally recommend 200 Hz for a bosch valve
Min duty 5... Start with 10
Max duty 100... Start with 80
Output 3 slave
