GPRP Pro M150 01.06.0552 Nitrous Activate / Reset

Postby fbikawi on Mon Nov 13, 2023 4:37 am

Hello,

we are trying to activate a 100 HP Dry Shot Nitrous Direct Port system to assist in Pre Spool a big turbo on a 4g63 evo 8 engine.

out plan is to activate the nitrous from 2750 Rpm until 5750 (off boost) to improve the power band.

the problem is that it seems the ( Nitrous Reset Engine Speed) doesn't seems to work for some reason.
we enabled the mode and we set a window of 3000 rpm Min, 5750 rpm Max. assuming that the reset will be enable above 5750 rpm to stop the nitrous (transition to enable), but this is simply is not happening!

is there a contradiction if the (Nitrous Active Engine Speed) is enabled, while the (Nitrous Reset Engine Speed) is disabled !

Hi Moh,

The labelling of the Reset Engine Speed is a little bit confusing.

You will need the minimum to be your maximum value for the reset, and the maximum to be your minimum value for the reset.

If you want the Reset Engine speed to turn on at 5750 to turn the nitrous off, you will need the Minimum to be above your engine speed limit and the maximum to be 5750.

This will turn the nitrous off at 5750, and ensure it stays off from 5750 until the engine speed limit.

Please note, if the engine drops below 5750 and is above 30% throttle, the nitrous will reactivate, so I would suggest using some additional reset conditions.
