Hello.
I dont want to make spam in forum with another topic with thesame content.
Can some one tell me more about this ecu ? Supposed to be subaru plug n play unit.
13003-13799

And my trick question to what I cannot find answer is : Does plug n play ecus have any restrains compared to gold box ? for example specific firmware to support only subaru oem triggerwheel or something like that ?

How can I add DBW to it? Only by using DBW4 module ?

Thanks.

Hi,

I don't currently have access to the enables so I cannot provide this.

With the OEM M800's, the main limitation is that due to the design of the daughter board (the component that holds the connector) they are not able to repurpose the outputs to different functions, such as DBW. This also means that you can only use Saturated injectors as Peak Holds draw too much current for the daughter board to handle. This is the same as with driving a DBW, unless the standard vehicle runs a DBW from the factory.

To retrofit DBW on to a vehicle that didn't have it, requires the use of a DBW4.
