C125 brightwater TPMS

Postby stc on Tue Sep 26, 2023 6:25 am

Hallo,

standart motec dash config things are no problem for me.

But everything with CAN is a bit to much for me.

I bought a brightwater TPMS system and trying to implement this to my obd connected C125 in my tracktool.

https://www.brightwater.co.uk/datasheet ... _guide.pdf

Thinking just connect it with CAN and using under communication setup-> select-> brightwater TPMS config(which is already available in dash manager 6.4).

Sadly I can only see pressure values which are 1 bar higher in the dash than in real with a tirepressuregauge. Values in dash are also changing when changing the pressures in tires. So connections seems to work fine.

Temperatures and sensor voltage values are always 0!

Any ideas what changes has to be done?

Hi,

I have attached the Brightwater TPMS template, can you test this and see if the data displays correctly.

Thanks you Stephen for the config but it only includes the tire pressures. Temperatures, battery voltage, sensor id are missing in this config.

The values for pressures doesn´t change when dropping or rising the pressures. It always says 0!

When using the old brightwater config I got then following status :
- all pressures available and changing when dropping or rising the pressures but the values are strange
--> 14,193 bar in the dash is in the tyre 0,81bar
--> 13,31bar 0,72bar
--> 9,428bar 0,53bar

- all temperature all -12°C (outside around 21°C)

- all battery voltage 0

- all sensor id 0

- all TPMS count 0
