beams into wanted

hope some of you guys can help me..i`m fitting a toyota altezza beams engine and want to fit bike carbs.. what i would like to know is what would be the route to take management and coil wise as it currently runs coil on plug type but i`d like to replace these with something a bit cheaper and easier to get than the altezza parts..i don`t have a clue about management systems so any advice would be a great help to me. cheers davy
