C125 sporadically doesn’t startup

Postby kurtd on Mon May 01, 2023 2:52 pm

My C125 sometimes doesn’t boot but instead just shows all pixels of the display turned on, making the whole display white. If I turn the key off and back on, it will typically start up normally. I’ve confirmed the display is running the most current firmware. It is battery powered via a relay that is turned on via the key. Input is via CAN from my mM130. Any ideas?

What does the voltage drop to when you turn it off? If you have some voltage leakage or are back-powering it though an output or something, like most electronics, you could find that it doesn't power-on reset properly.

So what is the voltage between the Bat+ and Bat- pins when powered off?
What is the voltage on any Aux Output (measured between the Bat- and the Aux Out pin)?

Thanks for your reply, David. I just confirmed there's no voltage across Bat+ and Bat- when the key is off. Same with Aux Output, which I'm also not using in my current setup (so it's unwired).
