Dash to dash comms

Hello
im using a c125 and a c1212 together with an m150 and 2 pdms
When setting up either dashes , getting data from m150 and the pdms is easy.
But How can i get dashes to get data from each other. ie i have i/o upgrade on both and different temp sensors on each . how can i get the values of the sensors connected to one dash and use them on the other?

Hi,

Are you confident in writing CAN Templates? You can do this by writing transmit and receive templates for each of the dashes that will swap the data between each.

If you post both of the Dash configurations and a list of a couple of the channels that you want transmitted between each, then someone on here will be able to do a quick setup for you.

Hi Stephen . thanks for your reply. not very confident as im pretty new at this .
M150 and pdm i can communicate easily as there are tmplates already there.
if you could send me a sample i m pretty sure i can manage. i cannot send you my config yet as i m still working on it

Here are a couple of TX (Transmit) and RX (Receive) templates that each communicate two temperature channels. Try using these and changing the channels names to channels you want to send / receive.
