Can't edit start/finish on track map editor

Hi there,

for some reason I can't edit the start/finish line on track map editor. I am using the circuit workspace. Also the track configuration was no available in the data base. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Tim,

Which track are you using data from?

Do you have valid GPS or Beacon data?

Are you able to load a copy of the data here so that it can be tested?

This was last weekend at buttonwillow configuration 27 CW.

I was using GPS and the map of the track generates, but it includes the hot pits as part of the track section. Also how do I go about getting a beacon?

I could only attach the ldx file ad the ld file is over 15mb. Is there another way to get it to you?

Hi,

Zooming in so that the bad GPS Data at the start and end of the file makes the maps draw correctly, I do not have the actual GPS data for the start finish of Button Willow so I placed the cursor on an approximate location and got this result when I generated the laps.

These are the coordinates for the start finish line 35.494680, -119.549606

How do I replicate the placing of the cursor in the i2 environment?

Also the official race distance was1.830 miles

In Tools | Lap Generator you can manually enter the GPS co-ordinate information into the options box, or you can place the cursor in the correct location using the GPS data in the logging and click the From Cursor button.

The attached ldx file should generate the laps for you if you load it in the correct location.

When i go into Lap Generator on the original file, it gives me a message "No GPS data available"

How did you get it to work?

He may have trimmed the file to eliminate the section with no GPS data.
