MOTEC C187 Not Available

Hi all,

So got a new car that came with a C187 last year. When I hook up to the computer, it shows as a connected device. However, when i try to retrieve data, the dash doesn't appear available when selecting a dash to retrieve data from. The whole time it still shows connected & available on connected devices tab though.

any ideas?

Hi Branson,

Has Windows run an update since you installed the C187 Manager? There has been an update that breaks some of the internal software links that allow for communication between the C187 Manager and the Dash. If you rerun the C187 Dash Manager installation and select the Repair option, this is fixing most of these issues that we are seeing.
