LTCD CANbus Lambda timeout

Postby DynoDom on Fri Oct 14, 2022 9:52 pm

Hello,

LTC Manager recognizes M1 and LTC CANbus 2, but LTC Manager does not list any devices and M1Tune reports CANBus timeout on both banks. CAN speed is set to 1Mbps and LTC Manager sees also that.

There are no other devices on CANbus 2. Simply M1 straight to LTCD module. Both ends of the twisted CAN Hi / Low are terminated with each a 100 Ohm resistor. Hi / Low pin assignment is correct on both ends. Supply voltage to the ECU and LTCD module is 12.7 Volts.

A PDF with the M1Tune and LTC Manager is attached.

Please assist in getting this to work.
Thank you in advance.

What happens if you set the CAN Bus speed to 500k?

Hi Stephen

Sorry for my delayed reply.
I made a mistake in the setup page of the LTC software.

All good now.
Thank you.
