Use custom settings on a injectors from the list in M1

Postby Mobne on Sun Jul 24, 2022 8:30 am

If i mark a bosch number in the list of calibrated injectors and then go back to manual settings. Will the settings/data from the last marked calibrated injector be the the information i get in the manual settings?

I want to make an flow update to my bosch injectors from the list so thats why i ask :)

Yes, if you select an injector from the drop down, and then switch to manual, all the settings will be applied in the manual system.

I wouldn't advise modifying calibrated injector numbers. We have developed specialist equipment to accurately build linearisations of injectors, so I'm not sure what you are hoping to achieve.

As a further point, the injector calibrations only use the reference flow once the commanded fuel volume exceeds the end of the linearisation table. So any attempt to change the flow rate will cause inconsistent behaviour.

The bosch 0280158333 is according to the data in motec almost 1800cc?

I have flow tested mine and with ethanol they flow 1650 @ 4bar pressure. Thats why i want to correct it and maybe that is the problem with Q enriching the map for me.

No. This is not the correct way to make any correction.

As stated before, the linearisation table is used before the reference flow. The 0 280 158 333 calibration goes for nearly 50ul of fuel.

You described his quick lambda issue at idle, which will be far below 50ul of commanded fuel, and therefore changing the reference flow will not have an impact of the behaviour at low fuel volumes.

Okey i see.

How do you actually read out the actual flow from motecs calibration to see if it applies to my set also?
