Fuel Pump Switching Help

Postby Hunter14 on Sat Jun 18, 2022 8:56 am

Hi,

I have a M150 c/w software package on a Lotus Exige S2 but I cannot get the Fuel Pump to either prime when the ignition is turned on or run when the engine is cranked over. Could anyone (in layman terms) point out where I should be looking at to correct this?

Everything seems to be configured correctly and when I change 'test' to 'Enable' the fuel pump switches on and runs so I know its connected and working but something is stopping it from working correctly when the car is powered up.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Hi Mark,

Is this one of Calibrated Performances Packages? If so, the Engine Run Switch controls the operation of the Fuel Pump. If the Engine Run Switch is not turning on (and Fuel Pump Prime is not greater than 0.1 seconds) then the Fuel Pump is disabled.

Hi Stephen,

Yes it is a Calibrated Performance package. Thanks for your help. I managed to track the issue down to the wrong switch being allocated for the 'Run Switch'.

Thanks,
Mark
