EVO X - Plug-in -Original knock sensor input pin

Postby bjorgvinben on Sat May 21, 2022 9:39 am

Hi,
Working with Evo X M800 Plug in.
The document DVIN0015 lists the OEM pin for the original knock sensor to be 25 and the M800 to be K-1, which I am not able to refer to anything in the document.
Is the original knock sensor not connected to an input in the Plug-in M800?
Regards
Bjorgvin

Do you have a OKM ( Onboard Knock Module ) installed on the OEM adaptor?
You need this for the M800 to detect knock.

I do not have the OKM.
I was wondering if the original knock sensor is wired in, and then to what input.
The pin list state K-1, which I do not know what means.

It's reasonable to assume that's its connected to the knock input on the OKM module. You will find info on that board here:
https://www.motec.com.au/ac-kc-okm/kc-okm-dl/

You can download the OKM / SKM manual as well from here:
