ECU Hold power method configuration

Postby 6ick6 on Wed Sep 08, 2021 2:25 am

Got my adapter harness and it states that it is wired using the ECU hold power method, i.e. At key on, the M1 will be initially powered through a 10 amp diode from the IGSW circuit.

Within the software you must turn on the OEM main relay (HB1) when there is voltage on IGSW (UDIG6).

Can someone guide me through this?

What firmware package are you using? Did you try your MoTeC dealer for support? They should be there to help you.

From what you've described, you would setup a Driver Switch using Universal Digital Input 6. You then configure Engine Run Switch Index to use the configured Switch.

For MoTeC GPx packages, you would configure ECU Power Relay Resource for Half Bridge Output 1.

After that I would fix anything that didn't work as I expected (Input Switch Thresholds, Power Relay Drive/Polarity, etc)...

Thanks David.

I configured Udig6 to a driver switch and link the engine run switch to the driver's switch.
There was another thing that I configured for it to work properly, can't remember right now.
