Flex sensor and E85

Postby rayhall on Wed Feb 17, 2021 8:25 pm

Hello ,
I have a M150 GPR on a turbocharged Audi V10. The engine is tuned on pump 98 octane + 20% Tolenune. I want to go to using just E85. If I fit a flexfuel sensor and put E85 in the tank will the fuel air fuel ratio table tune be correct or do I have to retune the fuel table again. I understand the ignition table can be retuned to get more power. Not something I am after, just want to stop having to mix fuel all the time

Hi Ray,

Have a read through the M1 Flex Fuel User Guide as it covers how to setup the Flex Fuel sensor into the M1, and to configure the affected tables.

You can change the Fuel Aim table to suit the new fuels requirements, but the Engine Efficiency table will not need changing.
