Bottom channel switch group

Postby Doorev1200 on Sat Sep 12, 2020 12:31 pm

I want my display to cycle through different channels like the internal display does with the bottom 3 channels. I have been trying to set it uo but have not been successful. For example, i have the group "eng temp" as the primary. I then add a switch and add the channel "gps altitude". Then next is the switch group you can set up a condition. This is where i dont understand. I want the next button to display the gps channel but all i have is equal to, less than, greater than ect instead of the next button true for .2s... am i doing this wrong? I want to have a few channels to scroll through like this. Does someone have a example they could share to help out?

Thanks again!

There is a few ways to do this.
Either via the overlays page, this will put the overlay on all pages similar to the alarm overlays or you can create it individually for each display page. Best method depends on your display setup and what you do/don't want to see I guess.

I'd personally use a user condition to trigger a counter.
The counter value would become the condition to active the different switch groups.
You'd need to create a switch, then a switch group, add your rectangular background shape or whatever you want to use for the overlay and then add the channel values to that with whatever text you want. You'd need to add multiple switch groups using the different counter values to alternate between the overlays.

I have tried a few ways but I am not having any luck. So I am willing to PAY someone to set up my display so that I can scroll up 3 channels at a time on the 3 bottom values like the internal c127 does. I want to be able to have 4 extra lines of 3 channels to scroll up only then roll over using the display next line channel. I attached my project and you can PM me or email me to discuss further. Thanks...

Here is your project back with the 4 line scrolling. I just duplicated your bottom line, but changed the label colors and label on the GPS speed so you could see that it was a different line.

It downloaded fine at home. I see I was kinda on the right track but it makes total sense now how you have it laid out.

thanks again David Ferguson!!!
