Using Digital Input to switch an output

Start button is wired between b11 (dig 4) and b15 (0v aux)? I'll go borrow an ecu and try it with my dyno harness later today.

Yes Dig 4 (B11), to 0V Aux (B15).

Here is a far from elegant workaround using digital input 4 as brake status triggering a timer channel which acts as a status channel input to the output 5 table. On the bench it appears to trigger the aux 5 correctly.

You could configure another input as clutch and use that to trigger timer 2 to be a second axis on the table if you wanted clutch interlock. I have attached an example of this too.

That will work and is configurable. That being said I have nfi why using a digital input as a button won't work. It was a good exercise to get the brain going anyway.

Just want to say thanks for your help.
Tested output table this evening & works perfectly, does not pulse the starter power up & will prevent an accidental push of the starter.

How so, using another input for clutch?
Another way would be to use rpm as a second axis in the table, to disable the starter over say 500 rpm. 500 is a figure I plucked out of the air, would need tweaking to suit so it doesn't drop the starter off just as the motor kicks over.
