M130 staged injection on 6 cylinders?

Hi.
New to this forum and new to Motec.
Considering to buy a used m130 GR to use it on a 6 cylinder BMW.
The question is, can it run staged injection on a 6 cylinder, running injectors in pair on 3 Injector outputs on the primary and 3 on the secondary. Or is it only possible to run sequential? Asking because we did this on a Maxxecu, but as mentioned I have never used a MoTeC.

Hi,

If they are Saturated injectors, then you can run the engine fully sequential for injection and ignition.

The injectors would be setup as follows.

Cyl 1 Primary PH_Inj1, Secondary PH_Inj7
Cyl 2 Primary PH_Inj2, Secondary PH_Inj8
Cyl 3 Primary PH_Inj3, Secondary LS_Ign7
Cyl 4 Primary PH_Inj4, Secondary LS_Ign8
Cyl 5 Primary PH_Inj5, Secondary LS_Out1
Cyl 6 Primary PH_Inj6, Secondary LS_Out2

It can be done, however you'll be running out of outputs fairly quickly. smartest option would be step up to an M150 and have more than enough IO.

Are you changing the maxxecu for an M1?

I am going for Deans's setup. Just scraping through with enough IO with DBW. Will probably fit an L120 at some point for more IO and flexible logging.

I’m a Maxxecu dealer, so we normally run Maxx on everything. But I’m always curious about stuff I’ve never tried. Very pleased with Maxxecu, only reason I’m considering a MoTeC is that I got a good deal on a second hand Ecu and I just wanted to try a MoTeC on my own car. Normally it would be way better ok expensive for my build, a Maxxecu does everything thing I need at half the price. But something are obviously really awesome in the MoTeC M1 ecu’s, so it would be cool to try one.
