Package Updates m130 GPR

Postby Anthony on Thu Oct 10, 2019 4:40 pm

I have followed the version migration doc - technical note CTN0033 and end up with Feb 2016 - 1.10.0075
https://www.motec.com.au/filedownload.p ... docid=5901

I been looking to find the Cruise control function tab in Tune but can't see it anywhere so must be doing something wrong as according to the doc, I should end up with July 2019.

Ive checked Motec online and all packages here seem to only be the Feb 2016 - 1.10.0075 version also...

Hi,

This Tech Note was uploaded into the wrong section and shouldn't have been made publicly available, it has now been removed.

Component around warning lights and cruise targets etc on a motec dash via can, is there some updated can templates to be released at some point as I can’t seem to find these.

Huge thanks...looks like I need to upgrade to GPR ASAP...to help save my driving license (a lot of speed cameras in the UK!)

Attached is a dbc file that can be imported into Dash Manager to add the Cruise Control messages that have been added to the GP packages. This is a temporary solution until we can make proper templates.

One issue is that Dash Manager selects the wrong resolution for the two speed channels so you end up with 1km/h resolution instead of 0.1km/h resolution. The actual channel value will be correct, just a lower resolution. You can manually change this to 0.1 and make the divisor in the CAN template 1 instead of 10.

Any plans to supply keypad stickers to match the permissible key combinations?
