VR sensor wiring into M1

Postby CDSaints on Sat Nov 09, 2019 3:09 pm

I need to bring a few VR sensors (cam, crank, VSS) into my M150, but I'm not exactly sure how to wire them. I know they should land on UDIG inputs but where does the "ground" wire go? Chassis ground? 0V sensor reference? Somewhere else? Also I would think for the udig input that the pullup to 5V should be off, correct?

Thank you.

Yes, the Pullup should be off for VR sensors. I generally use one of the sensor 0V pins for one side of the VR sensors, but I think you would be OK with the GND pins as well.

Hi,

The Preference is for the 0v pins to be used to reduce the potential for ground noise to introduced into the signal.
