D153 remember value

Hi.
We got a D153 as second display for our co-driver.
(The primary is a C127)

I’v created a menu in DC on the D153, where the co-driver is able to set a value on a channel (unassigned).
The value is compared to another channel to activate an alert.

My problem is, that the channel reset’s, when the D153 turns off/on.
Can I solve that ?

The D153 does not have the ability to save channel values through a power cycle. What you would need to do is send the menu channel on CAN to the C127, preserve it there and then send it back.

I thought so, about the D153
But as I can see, the D153 can’t transmit, only recieve.
Or am i wrong ?

As long as you have the latest version of DC then it can transmit too.

Just create a new message in the communications setup and then on the right hand side you can select transmit instead of receive.
