Failed To Update Calibration

Postby Loqy on Tue Apr 23, 2019 8:44 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm new with the M1 ecu.

When I 'Check for Updates' all the updates are :
- Systems (2)
- Calibrations
- M1 Application
See attached picture :

All the files has been successfully updated except the Calibrations

Here are the few questions that I'm holding :
- Is that Windows problem ? I already turn off Firewall & Antivirus, but still not working.
- Is it M1 software problem ? Because I already use other laptop but still not working.

Any post will be highly appreciate.

Hi,

I see that M1 Tune is also prompting for you to update to 01.04.0.200, can you please do this and then retry the Check for Updates.

Also, do you have M1 Build installed?

Hi,

If you have M1 Build installed can you ensure that it is the latest version as there is a difference between the location that M1 Build and M1Tune stores the calibration files. This was bought on by Microsoft making a change to the way that file permissions are done in the user profiles.

The files are stored in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\MoTeC\Calibrations, if you go into this directory (as the AppData directory is hidden you will need to turn on the "show hidden files and folders" option in File Explorer) and delete all of the files and folders in it, the next time that M1 Tune is restarted it will do a check for updates and reprocess the retrieve.

Hi,

Already upgrade to M1 Tune 1.4.0.200 and M1 Build 01.04.00.0185
But still not working

I'll try the other way that you've explained.

Thank you, really appreciate.
