Correct crank and cam sensors

Can someone confirm I'm headed in the right direction with my crank and cam sensor selection?

I'm looking at using a 1GT101DC for my crank sensor with a 60 -2 trigger wheel.

For a cam sensor I'm thinking a M DHALL 447 V2 ( a 1GT101DC won't fit for this)

I "windowed" an old valve cover to evaluate clearances. I'll weld a threaded boss on the side and the sensor will protrude much further into the cover. There isn't room to use a 1GT101DC so i had to go with the 447 V2 (and I had it on my shelf)



I was looking and the datasheet specs for both sensors and I'm not sure if I'm on the right path.

Hi,

I would not recommend the use of a "101" hall sensor on a 60-2 crank trigger wheel, I would use either a Magnetic sensor, or a hall sensor off of an OEM trigger system that uses a 60-2 trigger wheel, so that you know that the sensor can work correctly with that style of trigger system. Some of the "101" style sensors can have issues with properly detecting the missed tooth at higher engine speeds.
