Idle Control without Ignition Control.

Postby rayhall on Wed May 22, 2019 9:27 pm

I have the M150GPR on a Audi V10 with one DBW throttle body. I want the idle control to not use the idle ignition control as well as the DBW control. Can this be disabled so the main ignition table is been used.

I am finding the way it switches between idle ignition and the main table destabilising of the idle quality.

Ray.

I suggest you disable the idle ignition control by setting Idle Ignition Timing Limit Advance Control Proportional Gain (and Integral Gain) to 0.

Hi Ray,

Post some logging and the config (or email it to support @ motec.com.au) if you would rather, and I see if there is a way that we can get the idle working correctly with the ignition control.
