Discussion on the use of Display creator software for MoTeC Colour displays

set engine rpm channel

Postby CarloL on Sat May 21, 2016 11:44 pm

Hi

Assumption: the software will act as an Emulator and I do not need any Motec display hardware?

I am playing around with the software , and trying to mimic what was done in the webinar
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efQObamSChw&wide

I have stumbled on how to setup the Engine RPM Channel ? It is taken for granted in the Webinar I know how to
I am trying to create a Splash page with a Logo prior to the main page load but it said I need to set a condition on the 2nd page (no trigger condtion) , 2nd page has the Tacho

any help appreciated :D

Here is the Lotus Sport Display Creator project that goes with the DBC file I posted in your other thread. It has a splash screen, and multiple pages so you can see the conditions that are used for each page.

Display Creator has undergone significant changes since I created and posted that project. I would probably just create a new project from scratch.

I suggest you start with the most recent version of Display Creator, create a new project, work though as much as you can, then post your project and questions and we can try to help.
