thank you
I know that M84 has no driver function. CAN the driver module I developed be connected with M84 to realize CAN? In this way, information sharing CAN be achieved.

Hi,

The only way that you could have any sort of DBW functionality with the M84, is if you had a completely stand alone DBW controller that output a variable analogue voltage output that was then wired into the M84 Throttle Position input. The M84 would then use this as a load input for the engine control. This would effectively be spoofing a normal cable throttle input into the M84.

There are a number of downsides to this, including a lack of ECU based DBW failsafes (i.e. Engine Speed Limiting on DBW faults), a non linear relationship between the throttle operation and the actual throttle as well as missing out on the usual benefits that come from the use of a DBW throttle.

I wouldn't do it, you sound to be trying to "reinvent the wheel" as such when it comes to the development work that you are doing, and would be better off doing the development work with an ECU that allows for the integration of the DBW functionality into the ECU Firmware.

Time may not be an issue for you, but I do think if you want to do the job well, you need a better ECU.
There are throttle controllers around but they are just work-arounds and not as good as a built in hardware.

Hi,
My friend, M84 can't drive electronic throttle, so can M800 drive electronic throttle?

Hi,

An M800 can be optioned to run DBW, but unless you already have one I would not purchase one for this work. The M800 series ECU's have been superseded by the M1 range of ECU's and do not have the same level of functionality as the M1.

Thank you my friend, I will consider your suggestion.
I now have a tricky problem, my engine won't start, I test the phenomenon is;
(1) when the throttle valves are all closed and the engine is equipped with spark plugs, ignition or fuel injection can be detected externally.
(2) when the throttle valve is opened a little bit or opened a lot, and the engine is equipped with spark plugs, there is no ignition and fuel injection in the external detection.
What's the problem? My ECU is M84.

Could your configuration be using a MAP sensor for sync? With the throttle open, there is no detectable pulse to provide sync.

Hi,
My friend, I did not use the MAP sensor as the synchronization signal, should not appear such a problem?Opening the throttle detected no ignition and no fuel injection. Why?

Please post a ref/sync capture and configuration file.
Are we talking about the Triumph 3 cylinder engine ?

Hi,

Yes, the triumph 675 engine, I don't know what caused the problem, or is there something wrong with the data?
How to set the waste spark mode in M84?What conditions are required to enable the external conditions of this mode.
