i2 Mapping using external G sensor

Postby Slagathor on Sun Dec 02, 2018 2:03 pm

I have a C125 that is steering wheel mounted. Yeah...I know...it is not recommended, but it works great and I like it. But the lateral G sensor reads low when the wheel is turned due to basic trig math. If I re-designate the internal G sensor to be logged to a channel called Alt Lat Acc / Alt Long Acc / Alt Vert acc and take the signal from an external G sensor (https://www.motec.com.au/ac-sn-forcemot ... motion-gg/), mounted with a proper fixed connection to the car, and log/map that the the standard G channels, will i2 be able to draw its track maps using the external G readings?

Hi Slagathor,
You can generate a track with any G input, so long as you specify the correct input in the generate track screen.
