M150 GPRP Feb 2016

Postby bing on Wed Jul 25, 2018 3:05 am

I have Motec M150 GPRP Feb 2016 (01.01.0010)

Wheel Speed (X) Voltage
Wheel Speed (X) Voltage Max/Min

All Wheel Speed using Digital 1-4, Channel has no reading live or data log.
It seems working from input a guesstimate value, but i can't setup the threshold if i don't have a reading.

I am not sure if this is a bugs or normal, i remember the older GPR package does have this reading.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian,

Do you have the channels turned on? these values are channels so need to have the channels turned on to be visible.

The Wheel Speed per wheel is assign to Digital 1-4. it read wheel speed.
I see there are Sensor input on/off but how do you turn it on?

Thanks,

Brian

A 2V threshold is correct for the Fixed Digital Inputs (according to the M1 ECU Hardware Manual), these are pulled up to 3.3V. I'm not sure if changing the threshold value will even have any effect, and I don't think the Hystersis is settable for the fixed Digital Inputs (Universal Digital are different). You may get voltage readings if you turned off the pull-up resistor, but then you might not actually get any voltage (unless you provide an external pull-up resistor), and you don't have access to the internal 3.3V supply.

Hope that helps.

This is my guess setup for threshold and hysteresis. It seems works but want to make sure.
It want to be pull up for less diagnose issue from motec. It had a pull up diagnose if i don't enable it.

Hi Brian,

The Wheel Speed XX XX Sensor Input value will toggle between On and Off as the M1 reads the sensor input. If it is not receiving a signal on the input, it will read off.
