TOYOTA 86 DI tune

Postby Victorgarage on Sat Jun 23, 2018 1:25 am

Hello can i have a help of where to tune the DI and Secondary injector separately?
Or any tricks on tuning it so i can have a 11.5 AFR ratio on EForce stage 1 supercharger kit..
As now i am having lean about 13.1 on 6500rpm up and 0.7 bar boost..
Some friends from ecutek said that they can reach 10.5 with stock Inj by tuning the inj..
If there is no feature for the motec to do it.. please help me with the linear calibration you have for 1000cc injectors please.
Either from ID or FIC
Thanks

Hi,

I have sent you a updated Package that has the secondary contribution table setup for a standard engine. You will need to look at the Fuel Injector Primary Duty Cycle and see what it is getting to, as I would expect that you have run out of DI injector at that engine load.

There is no reason that a M1 cannot run an engine that rich, with Methanol fuelled cars, the M1 will control them down to Lambda 0.5, and I have run Toyota 86's at 0.8 and richer without issues.

The Package that I sent to you will allow for you to select the ID1000's injectors from the injector dropdown list.
