Camshaft in reverse

Postby NBR on Thu Jun 21, 2018 9:21 am

Hi Everyone,
Im wondering if anyone has had the same problem with a subaru Quad cam setup.
At the moment i have an M150 in a Subaru STI (MY08), and i'm seeing some strange behaviour with the variable intake cams.
On the GPR package, the cams position sensors are showing in reverse, i.e. when the cam is at 10deg ADV, its reporting -10deg ADV. and when i setup the aim table, the cam is unable to follow the aim as the position is in reverse to what i'm requesting. However, If i request -10 adv in the aim, the cams move to -10deg adv (shown in tune) however mechanically this is +10deg adv.

I thought at first i must have bank 1 and 2 swapped, but i change these and the car has trigger issues.
I have the car setup using the FA20DIT trigger setup.

Has anyone seen this before?
