i2 Standard-Changing Distance

Postby Brinkley on Wed Jan 21, 2009 9:42 am

I am using the latest version of i2 Standard, and would like to change the "distance format" on the horizontal axis of the main "Driver" worksheet which shows things such as speed, throttle position, variance, and brake pressure. I would like to change the mileage measurement to feet. Currently the horizontal axis measurement toggles between Miles or Time(m:s:ss) via a graphical clock up in the tool bar.

I was told that this is possible but have spent a long time looking at each menu trying to make this change. Can someone confirm that this is possible and how would you make this change?

I dont believe that it is possible to do this. As you zoom in, it maintains the current units, just gives them more and more decimal places of resolution within the same units....

Jamie,
Is there something I can do or need to do to get a higher resolution? You stated "just gives them more and more decimal places of resolution within the same units...."

It is possible to change the units of the horizontal axis to feet however this will effect all of the time distance graphs not just the one on the Driver worksheet.
The distance on the horizontal axis is created from the Corrected Distance channel, you can change the units of the channel by going to Tools > Channel Editor, highlight Corr Dist under the Maths:Internal section and click on Edit at the bottom of the window, you can then select the units to use from drop down list.
