Gen I Hayabusa trailing throttle lambda tuning

Postby LSR Racer on Tue Mar 20, 2018 2:55 am

How should I be handling the trailing throttle side of lambda tuning? 0-10% throttle opening while accelerating or in steady state riding is way different than closed throttle deceleration. I've got Lambda near target on the accel/steady state side but when I decel and close the throttle at higher rpms, the lambda goes way too lean.

If I set 0% @7000 rpms to be rich enough on decel then will the transition to 2%-5%-10% be set wonky?

Hi,

If you have Overrun Fuel Cut active, then you will get a lean condition in the exhaust on over run as there is no fuel being injected.

This can be turned off if you want to have the fuel being injected on over run, by setting the Parameters to 0.

You can also use the Fuel Decel Parameters to tune the behaviour of the fuel injection in close throttle situations.

Thank you,

Overrun Fuel Cut was enabled which I corrected by setting values to zero. We'll see how it goes.
