Drive speed channel

Postby Vlad on Fri Dec 08, 2017 1:20 am

Ok, so i wired on my s13 the speed sensor from the gearbox, it's in dig1 as left drive speed, i have callirated it properly, i have also set gear detection, wich works fine. After messing a bit wit the traction control, for the moment rpm rate of change, i wanted to see how the drive speed rate of change works, but cannot seem to get the drive speed channel to work, only the left drive speed, wich is on dig1....What do i have to do for the ecu to use the left drive speed as drive speed?

Set 'driven wheel balance' to 100% It's the fourth item in the traction control parameters menu.

If you press f1 for help on the 'slip calculation mode' (first item in the tc parameters)the help file explains it there.

Just one more thing, to get it clarified...because a while ago i had some headake with this...about the cam trigger. The cam trigger must finish triggering before cyl 1 's compresion stroke, for example on a 4 cyl engine, it must trigger after cyl #2's compresion stroke, between cyl#2 and cyl#1. Is this correct?
