C125 incompatible configuration version

Postby Beaune Yard on Thu Nov 09, 2017 4:00 pm

Purchased a used 2016 Clubsport with a MoTeC C125. Downloaded i2 Standard, plugged C125 into my laptop and selected “Get Logged Data”. Received the following message: Get Logged Data: The device contains an incompatible configuration version. You must update the device firmware first.

How do I update device firmware? I’m assuming the device here is the C125?

Thanks!

Hi,

You need to install the C125 Dash Manager software from here; Latest Version or a previous version from here; Previous Versions

If you look at the screen when it starts up, the current firmware version installed on the Dash will be shown., you can install this version to talk to the Dash and get the logging and configuration out of the Dash, and then load the current software you be able to upgrade the firmware.

To update the firmware, connect to the Dash using the C125 Manager, and go to Online | Update Device Firmware and then follow the prompts.
