Map for standard Suzuki Hayabusa Gen1

Postby TonyS on Wed Oct 11, 2017 8:05 pm

Hi,
I am looking for a M84 map for a standard Gen1 Hayabusa please. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. A map for another ECU (M400 etc.) would do as I can manually copy the data if necessary.

i have a gen 1 using an M84
i will put the file up
haven’t done that before , so i may be slow
my set up will be very different, i have a hall cam sensor
gen 2 crank wheel ie 24-2 not 24-1
and the big difference is i have shifted the cam pin position ( to spread the sync position between the crank and cam )
my tune map will be a good place to start
it is a land speed bike and so my AFR is power based and not economy or driveabality

busa tune file
sowith this file will need you to change setup inputs
I use a hall cam sensor
the cam pin has been repositioned ( to spread the signals from crank and cam )

read my story in the M84 , re ref/sync and gen1

the crank has gen2 wheel , ie 24-2 , not 24-1 as a gen one
mode will need to be 69 and not 5
the tune will be useful ,
this is a land speed bike ( stock gen 1,) Yoshi 4-2-1 system with a long 2' tail pipe
AFR is 12.5 and is not refined
I am about to do some more dyno work , so will have a more refined tune in time
hope this helps
feel free to ask anything

Thank you very much harky :D

I think it is the .LD file that I need, or the M84 Config file saved from the Motec ECU Manager software ?

Hi harky.

I've had a look in the M84 ECU Manager software and the file will be in the "MoTec/M84/Configs" folder, with the extension xxxx.m84-12

try again:
share2 forum.zip
(2.87 KiB) Downloaded 1611 times

Have placed this as a zipped file as the m84-12 format would not post
the ignition map is a copy of a published flashed map and very conservative in the total advance
the fuel is my own map , done on my dyno , using quick Lambda @ key loads and positions , then blending the map manually , bit crude but effective .
you have a start point
I am dynoing more soon to refine what I have , my power software is still to be tested , so when that works I can see real numbers

The LDX file is a logging file.

You need to post a xxx.11 for 1.1 software or xxx.12 for a version 1.2 software

Many thanks harky, just the job. I'll let you know how I get on and good luck with your engine developments.
