D153 Configuration of CAN

Postby happyLogger on Wed Jul 12, 2017 3:11 am

I have D153 display and downloaded Display Creater. Howerver, I need to send analog and digital inputs info to CAN bus. I think Display Creater is only allow to configure receiving CAN messages or am I missing something? Thank you in advance.

A D153 will send input and switch status on the CAN bus. The template "D1 Receive" found in the ADL3 and Color Dash Managers will provide you with info on what channels and other details (Compound Messages on address 0x0E9)

The D153 Data sheet refers to this information:

No, I think this is built into the basic CAN firmware for the D153. I beliveve it supplies all the necessary information.

When I sniff the CAN, D153 sends 0x0e9 with four different mux signals in 100us interval then waits 100ms until sending another cycle. Is that what D153 configure to?
Please refer to the PNG file on attachment.

Thank You so much!

Did you edit the D1 Receive Template to see how the information is encoded? What you posted seems to be in agreement with that.
