Diff oil cooler and pump

Postby NickZ on Thu Jun 15, 2017 7:23 pm

M800 ecu
Ive fitted a oil cooler and electric oil pump to a diff.
there is a temp sensor on it connected to AV5 and is functioning and being logged be the ECU
I would like to control the pump from one of the outputs using the temperature from the sensor.
the sensor is setup as a user input on AV5 and called "Diff Pump"
in the Parameters of the outputs i can't find any way to associate the AV5 to it.

Is it possible to do what im trying to do or another way?

Use the aux output to trigger a relay for the diff pump.....
You will need to determine the best parameters etc for your application.

Set the aux output to function 3 "Aux table"

Set the parameters for the table, for a diff pump probably a simple switch to ground something like this

Then setup the table something like this

So the "AUX table 3" refers to AV3 for example?
for my setup i select "AUX table 5" ?

Aux table 3 is the setting for Aux output 3. In this case it is referencing User 5 .. If you have called the channel "diff temp" you make the x axis on the table "diff temp"
