m150 table fluttering

when i connect my laptop to my ecu the map table starts to flutter, whats wrong

Hi,

I am presuming that you are meaning the Engine Efficiency table? Are you saying that the engine runs differently with the laptop connected versus not? Can you provide some logging showing this occurring please. Standard level 1 logging with all of the diagnostic channels logged will suffice.

it does it with out the engine running as its new build and have not started engine yet

Hi,

Do you have any sensors connected to the M1 yet? What sort of range of fluttering are you seeing? 1~2 kPa, or 50+ kPa?

think i;v found the problem, i disconnected the ltc and its sorted, so i pulled the ground wire and put direct to ground and its still ok, so i hope thats sorted. thanks for your help

Which ground wire did you pull?

Sounds like you had the LTC ground connected to the 0V sensor pin on the ECU.

This will cause the problem because the 0V sensor pin on any ECU is not designed to handle the current when the LTC turns the lambda sensor heater on.

Basically you didn't follow the wiring diagram for the LTC!
