Evo IX M800 base map

Postby Vlad on Sat Apr 08, 2017 8:45 am

Hy guys, next week a friend asked me to mapp his ex gr.n evo 9, wich has a m800 pnp from a evo8, the car was mapped in another country and he is not pleased with it, the tuner will remove the pasword and upload a startup file in the ecu. I need, if someone is willing to help me, a evo 9 tuned map, because i haven't done a mivec mapping till now, just two evo 7's... it would be way easyer for me to understand what's the motec doing and how by looking at another tuned file, the principle of the mivec i know, but setting up the motec's input and output, and everithing will take me allot of extra time....so a map of someones would me greatly apreciated :) Thanks :)

And if possible, i would need a M800 EVO8 pinout diagram...since the mivec is now runing on another output, i need to check witch pin it is, and find to what output it corresponds. Thanks again :)

Are you sure it is an M800 EVO8 that your customer has and not an M800 EVO8/9? Any file for an Evo9 is likely to have been generated for an M800 EVO8/9 which has a different pinout and has provision for the MIVEC.

I'm pretty sure that it a Evo8 ecu....but i will check. I have found on the website the the 8-9 file, and i will have to check every output and input because i'm sure the last tuner has changed some pins in the connector. But just for my personal knowledge, a tuned file would help me get an idea of what and how easyer.
