PDM30 Hardware version- urgent help please!

I'm installing a PDM 30, there is no "2" in a box by the serial number, but there is a "3"...does this mean I can use linked channel direct control for windscreen wipers?

Full serial number: 14103-13691

Firmware number 3 is later than firmware 2 so includes the direct wire wiper control. I will get the documentation updated to remove any confusion.
