CDL3 M1 Template

Postby moylee19 on Sun Jan 29, 2017 11:15 am

Is it possible to get a M1 template for the CDL3?

Or is is easier to build a template from scratch based on the M1 input/outputs being used?

There is already one on the latest version of CDL3 Dash manager, what version are you on?

CDL3 Dash Manager already has templates for the M1 but they are probably a bit out of date. If you download one of latest Colour Dash Managers (such as C125 Dash Manager) from the website it will have more up to date templates. Once you have installed that you will be able to use the templates in CDL3 Manager.

The templates you need are:
M1_General_0x640_Version 4
M1_General_0x650_Version 4

and for flex fuel channels:
M1_General_0x670_Version 1

Thanks for the heads up re the updates. Will try that first. I am running an older laptop with XP so not sure if that is what is holding it all back.
Current version of Dash Manager is 1.60.52.0

Windows XP will run Dash Manager fine, that shouldn't cause you any issues.

Thanks, all good, found the channels and imported them no problems. Now to build the pages from the channels I "think" I will be using. Trying to do this before the ECU/Dash/PDM etc are all installed, to save some time afterwards.

Now to work out how to build the channels from the M130 in the PDM

I would like to know how to do this. CDL3 manager doesn't seem to recognise *.cc8 files, only *.cc7 and earlier.

Hi, These are just what I needed.

Do you have cc7 versions of the 'GP_to_M1_x680/1/2/3' in cc7 as well so I can transmit my GPS signal to my M1.
