Custon Firmware

Postby sphilips on Mon Jan 09, 2017 6:49 am

Anybody know if it is possible to get a custom made firmware for the m800?

For example, to use an AV as an AT input (if possible within the unit)
Or an extra digital input to use as an on/off button for something
Or making a function for engine brake instead of nitrous

Hi,

You can make an AV into an AT by adding an external 1k ohm pull-up resistor between the 5V and Signal wires.

Are you wanting another Dig input on top of the existing 4? You can use the AT inputs as switches as well.

We have finished development of the Mx00 series ECU's so adding functions will not be possible.

I have used al 4 dig inputs and the at inputs, but I'll convert an av to an at. That will do.

It is a shame that there aren't any updates, all I need is some extra aux table and then I'm happy :D

I maybe have an idea to have some aux tables, but I have to check it in real life on the bike.

I want to adjust the engine brake and traction controle more than now. I am thinking on closed loop engine brake.
