Bosch DBW with M400

I need some help on wiring and setup of Bosch DBW system found on Audi TT 1.8T.

I remember that in the past was a drawing avaliable for download but not anymore.
In addition firmware 3.50 has added parameters.

You will need to contact your MoTeC dealer for this information and help with DBW setup.

I came in contact with my dealer and he provided wiring schematic and parameter setting instructions.

It's working fine,with accuracy and quick response.
I am only facing an issue with high-rpm idle.With idle controll off i got idle at 1600rpm.

At Throttle Position Translation Table i got 0% at 0%driver's request(tpd).

What i can see is that the throttle plate is opened for a few degrees with tpd=0 and tps=0.
That's the default position where the plate sits with the throttle body off the car too.

I can't figure out which parameter can force the throttle against the spring to make it close completely.
I forced the butterfly with my finger to the fully closed position and recalibrated the tp/tpd closed and open values.

What i received is a non responsive throttle.

My understanding is that the position translation table is overridden by the idle control parameters.
(I use 0 TPD = .6% TP) then use the idle control to drive it to the idle speed.

As mentioned on efi101 Bosch DBW here as well.

Hi Stef,
The TP Closed and TP2 Closed should be set at the same time with the throttle plate closed almost all the way (you can use a feeler gauge to get the base idle right). Setting TP Closed and TP2 Closed at the point where the spring holds the throttle plate is not a good idea...as you have found out.

A process to make sure all your throttle position settings are recognized by the ECU is to go into the Throttle Position Hi/Lo screen do all of the neccessary changes and then go out of that screen before you reset the ECU.

You should get the throttle body working correctly and a good idle speed (engine hot) before you turn on the DBW Idle function in the Auxiliary Output 2.
