Intel Atom devices

I think of buying a pc with a atom processors. The little one's. Handy for on the track. Probably a samsung : Samsung NC10.
1,6 GHz
1GB memory
screen 1024x600

Think it works for ecu and dash manager but not for i2 pro. Minimum screen size: 1024 x 768.
Is this really the case of can 1024x600 work also ?

I have a Toshiba Netbook with 1024x600

It can run i2 but it is borderline big enough.
I had to put the Windows toolbar up the side of the screen instead of along the bottom to get enough height.
Some of the dialog boxes are more than 600 high.
