I got a log from my track day, now what...?

Postby FoxSTI on Sun Dec 04, 2016 7:46 am

I have two pieces of information I need to extract.
I would appreciate some assistance please,

1 - Toward the end of my last session I experienced a little bit of fuel cut off (seemed to me).
I don't remember the exact time this happened. But in a situation like this, how does one go about finding where such event that lead to some malfunction happened ?

2- There is a section of track I am having some difficultly figuring out.(racing line / speed)
With multiple logs and laps of it being driven differently, now can I see which line was the fastest? Is there a way to do some sort of user defined sector timing and then overlay logs?

Thank you

You call me. I teach you how to look at your data.

If you will put your data up on a server (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc) and send me a link, I will make a video movie showing you how you may wish to look for this problem. If you don't mind, I will post the video so that others can learn from this.

Along with Dave's offer, we have a number of Seminar notes on the use of logging and data analysis available to download from here for off line learning.
