Would an expert please critique this for me please?

As this is is my first attempt at a none standard crank and cam sensor install (on an RB26 Skyline engine I am building), would one of the experts here kindly cast an eye over it and tell me if anything looks amiss? Crank trigger is a magnetic sensor from Marelli, and the cam sensor is a Bosch hall effect. The gap is about 1.5 mm to the crank trigger wheel, and a tad more to the cam tooth, but no more than 2mm.

The crank trigger setup looks fine, I dont see any issues with that.

With the cam trigger setup, I would suggest using a round pin rather than a square one, as any change in its rotation during installation each time will change the point of trigger, and perhaps the index tooth. A round tooth wont have this problem.

Thanks for finding the time to reply Jamie, appreciated. The tooth is pinned and Loctited, so it won't move, and the cam pulley can be dismantled without disturbing it, but it's no big deal to turn up a round peg if you still feel it wise?. One concern was what effect altering the cam timing will have, should I wish to experiment during mapping? Will I need to readjust the ignition timing, as the tooth is fixed relative to the cam itself, not the cam pulley, and hence the crankshaft? Thanks.

Adjusting your cam timing will not change the ignition timing because this is referenced from the index tooth on the crank sensor. The "index tooth" is the first tooth after the missing teeth on the crank which occurs after the sync tooth.
