M800 Multi config alarm in C125

Postby fordpop on Mon Oct 17, 2016 1:42 am

Im assuming it's possible for the C125 to display an alarm when AT5 is switched to earth.

Ims struggling to work how how though.

Do I need to at the AT5 channel to the custom data set from the M800 to the dash...or is there an easier way?

Have to tried configuring the AT5 input as a channel that is sent to the dash in the normal M800 data set? If so, then you can use that channel value in the dash to activate the alarm condition.

You can use the 'Active Config' channel to tell you which config you are currently using and then have an alarm based on that in the dash.

You will need to setup a custom dataset with the 'Active Config' channel and then setup the one of the CAN slots to transmit it to the dash. You will have to set this up in both ECU configs.
