SDL Gauge Pressure

Is there a way to display Gauge pressure for the Map sensor ie: 10 psi boost reads as 10 not 24.7?

yes, there are a number of ways to do this, but one way is to use a 2d table, and create a new channel that is a gauge version of the existinfg channel, so you can then use either the absolute channel or the gauge channel throughout the application.

Just had a look through my channels and can't find "boost" would "Man Air Pressure3" do?

Also my "Manifold pressure" is set to the default Kpa and was doing some funky things when set to PSI in the SDL.

Please excuse the gumby questions only had the SDL a week and am still feeling my way.

I was thinking this (attached pic) but wasn't sure what to do with vacuum?

Ok, what you have done is fine. (i made up the boost channel by renamnig a GP pressure med channel to be called boost. You can rename any channel, but the one that you have used is fine

As for what to do with vaccuum, well, that is up to you. If you want to see vaccuum, put in
0 = -14.5.
If you dont want to see any vaccuum readings, put in
0=0

as the first row in your table.

Works like a charm, I'd already guessed on the - readings I figure they don't actually mean anything other than for comparative purposes in use.

Now as seeing you're the "Can King" maybe you can point me in the right direction on another issue?

I've managed to get the User channels across to the SDL but a few of them came across as RAW unitless data streams when I need them to read in C any ideas?

Also my EGT is across as an "obsolete exhaust temp" and I can't get it to display?

Again sorry for all the questions but nothing I've tried has worked.

To part answer my own question: User 1>4 will read fine as the default values on the SDL 5>8 don't, I shuffled the important Inputs so I'm able to diplay the channels I need.

Still haven't got an EGT to display yet in any way shape or form.

Open to idea's and suggestions guys.
